Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Electric Power” (re improving mechanism of stimulating electric energy production out of alternative energy sources)

The bill (Reg.No.2171a) aimed at stimulating electric energy production form renewable sources of energy, wide and effective usage of their potential, and eliminating technical barriers in implementing current provision of applicable law.

The Committee members made a number of remarks to the bill. Particularly, the Committee opposed to implementation of the “green” tariff for electric power produced from waste.
